Basically? I know NOTHING about it right now! I read a long fic (that maybe you rec'd?) about Sid Crosby and some dude from Russia (I can't remember his name right now). I loved it. I read another long Sid Crisby fic and then decided I needed to figure out exactly who was who and um, well, yeah, never got farther.

I need EVERYTHING. Primers and recs and video and um, to figure out what team I like? I used to live by San Jose and maybe I'll like the Sharks? But now I'm by Anaheim and there are the Ducks....

The place to start is actually here regarding the game. It's... a little out of date, some of the rules have changed, and the conferences have reshuffled (WHICH I HAVE OPINIONS ON, FUCK THE NHL THEY DON'T WANT THE CANES TO EVER GET TO THE PLAYOFFS *cough*).

The best way to figure out which team you like is to watch games! San Jose are ADORABLE. They've actually got a holiday video here which is... don't drink anything while watching it unless you want to nose-beverage. I love them. They're SO BAD at acting. And also huge trolls. I don't know much about the Ducks, but I have friends who support them!
