I was getting bored with the old one, so I had a rummage around the various layouts and tried a few of them out. I think this one probably works best, though I am open to suggestions (unforutnatly being on a free account limits my options somewhat ( Read more... )

*Throws objects anyway, it may not hit you through the bunker, but it makes me feel better!*

Argh... teach me to type things in a hurry, at work, whilst tired. I blame the fact I did all my schooling in French until I got to A-Levels and could word process all my essays. It's my excuse for my appalling spelling and I'm sticking to it! Anyway, fixed now.

Tis a nice layout, it's one of the pre-made ones, Mixit theme, Nevermore style. If I had time I'd try and make my own, but frankly I doubt I'd manage anything quite as pretty.

Every so often I get a mild urge to do mine..then I remember that while I may be good at mvids and fics, I suck ass when it comes to taste and layouts, so I let myself be distracted by breadcrumbs. Hence my plain little format :D

Plus LJ's HTML editor is seriously fucked up.

Yay, pretty. (And I see leya got to you for the typos, woo.) I think that's hands down the best of the free ones, even if it is a steal from Vox and thus makes me scared that they're trying to turn LJ into MySpace and send us old folks off there where we won't bother em so much...

Liked your Psychology rant, btw - even if I confess I probably understood less than half and had to go for a cup of tea in the middle. Sadly we are all governed by telly, and scriptwriters have less than no idea.

Ah, did I end up making it a bit 'heavy'. I was worried I might, since I wrote it in between writing a journal paper, and found switching styles immensely confusing.

What gets me with scriptwriters, isn't that they make mistakes but that most of the mistakes they make could easily be solved by a 5 minute conversation with a half-way decent psychologist. At least with other sciences they make a vague semblance of an effort to get it right. This said it took me a whole Masters in Forensic Psychology to figure out the difference between Sociopath and Psychopath, so I can probably allow them that one.
