When it's her time I know Feep will go very peacefully thanks to your love and care. She may forever be a little "grump" but I'm sure she has always been grateful to have you and Uriel as her family and caretakers.

I wish you the best Gen, and I hope to see you in high spirits at Megaplex next week. :) *hugs*

I am so sorry for your pain. I lost my best kitty friend in December and am still affected by it.

I have my kitties cremated by a local private service (lady does it as a side business... heck of a business, lady). That way, I could bring them 'home' when I knew that I would be some place to stay for a while. I got a small non-dorky statue for the yard.

Firefly's buried in the shade of that statue now, and there is some comfort in knowing that he's there, even now.

The decision facing you is never an easy one. You look at your beloved pet, and nothing really 'looks' wrong. You rely on your vet's diagnosis, and upon the intuition that passes between you and your 'child'. (Make no mistake... your pet IS your child...) No one can truly console you because all the years' memory will create that pet-shaped hole in you heart. But then, the memories will last... and from them will provide that silver-lining in the clouds. Cherish Feep... and thank you for sharing the Grump with us.
