BTW, do you have a link to the article/interview where DC comics said they approuved Chlollie's wedding?

Ha, I hear you on the getting older shit. A foot injury closely followed by a really persistent case of viral bronchitis has knocked me out of my exercise routine for months, and I desperately need to get back on target--it's almost sweater-shedding season and I don't like what's under them right now. Also, I'm reevaluating the whole "letting myself go gray" thing. My BFF, who is 7 years younger than me, is taking the plunge and letting her hair go completely gray. I kind of want to (I think silver hair with a relatively young face looks really cool) but I'm not brave enough yet. At least it blends in with my blonde so I don't have to touch up my roots as often.

My fave new ship is Ben/Leslie on Parks & Recreation. They are hilarious and completely adorkable, and there is some GREAT fic being written for them. Interestingly, most of my current ships are for comedies rather than dramas (30 Rock, Community, HIMYM).

DC-approved!!! Because it can't be said often enough: hahaha, suck it, haters. :)

I just turned 49 last month. Bwah. I don't look my age, thank goodness for my mother's genes, where she and all of my aunts look incredibly younger than they are. My mom is nearing 70, doesn't color her hair and it's still very dark, with only some gray. I may just let the gray strands stay. Not sure yet. My daughter will probably convince to to do something funky with it.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll definitely check them out. I know once SV is over, I'll be needing another diversion, lol.

DC-approved! I'm still so happy about the marriage, and I'm going through Chlollie withdrawals.

Ooh, I thought of another one: Will/Alicia on The Good Wife. If you're not already watching, you should. Some of the smartest writing on TV right now, and definitely some of the strongest women in the cast of any show right now. And I've had a crush on Josh Charles since Sports Night. :) (Dammit, how do I not have any Will/Alicia icons uploaded?)

I'm totally going into Arwen withdrawls...not even joking. You got me hooked on Merlin Gen! I've been addicted ever since. Arwen is just so amazing, I can't even say how much I love them. I absolutely love Merlin and I'm already dying for it to come back on ( ... )

Bwahahaha! I didn't know I got you hooked on Merlin! Woohoo! They are filming, now so that's good at least. :D

I've been hearing some buzz about Nikita, but part of me doesn't want to watch it, because I LOVED the version with Peta Wilson, and I'm dorky enough not to want to taint that.. haha. But maybe I'll check it out.

I've watched a few episodes of Glee.

Yep, thanks to your recommendations...I am completely hooked/obsessed with Merlin. I can't even say how freaking amazing the show is. I think Arthur/Gwen is my favorite ship besides Chlollie!
