"That's because I have just killed five people."
His answer's wording entones even more in his sidekick that something is dreadfully wrong with him. She grins. "What? Just five before breakfast?" She rises before he can answer.
She returns, popping open beer, setting it before him, and settling in to wait however long is necessary, this time, for him to spill the beans. Her pink, bunny slippers wink up at them, grinning with knowledge that this's just one reason why they're so perfect for each other.
