Being Human/No Heroics

Just thought I'd make a public post recommending anyone who hasn't seen this stuff to go out and see it like nao.

Also, I think I've had enough of the current websites I've been watching (if you can't tell what with all the LJ activity). Any internet suggestions anyone?

They're both British shows. No Heroics a show that's kind of sitcom-y and fun about superheroes who hang out and drink and have sex a lot (they're making an American version with Freddie Prinze Jr.). Being Human is more dramatic, starring supernatural characters.

Being human makes me cry. It's soooo good. Is it bad that I'm always a tad turned on by the werewolf? Like... fuckin' all the time?

I missed the boat on Being Human (maybe someday when I've watched everything else I've downloaded), but No Heroics was great.

You might want to check out Misfits too.

Russell Tovey was also in Annually Retentive, playing a gay (yes, a gay). Here's a video of him explaining things to Rob Brydon.

Sure sure, we all have our downloads. Actually I'm watching Being Human instead of Doctor Who, which I realize is wrong of me.

Hooray! Also, randomly, I heard about David Cross and Will Arnett getting a show based on a one-shot special they did in London, Todd Margaret, and got that. Turned out Russell is in that too!

If the new version of Bejeweled Blitz remains as unplayable as it is right now, I'll have a lot of time to watch stuff soon...
