I drove up to Lincoln, NE last Thursday to meet up with Kathy and Connie. After a quick bite to eat we got on the road to C2E2 - the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. Val Kilmer, Sean Astin, Anne Rice, Nicolas Brendan and the big draw for us - John Barrowman. We stayed in Davenport, checked into the hotel about 2AM then back on the road to

Hey...those were the days in dear old Brum! And freezing Glasgow. Sounds like you all had an *awesome* time!! Or that could be a *brilliant* time...

I've seen his Q&A and he's great isn't he...so happy to be with his fans...makes a change after my experience with Huge Lorry!!!!

Wonderful report! I came over here because your icon made me curious. I recognized the green shirt from the Comic Con but I also knew that technically no pictures were allowed. Well done, John ;)

And I also had read about the "hitting into the groin" before somewhere, so it's great to have the whole story now.

When I was in Peterborough in May I also was able to talk for quite a while to him at the autograph table, showed him my Carole & John figures, which he thought were amazing, and also a photoalbum with the "Hollow Earth" actionfigure story that I had done.
