Okay, I got into a "argument" with a coworker today and I want to know what people think. I've worked at the library for 20 years and I am the only full time reference clerk there. Well amid tornadoes and panels I found a new fandom and made some serious cast at the art show! I sold all my pieces except 2 - and oddly enough one was my least favorite and one was my MOST favorite. Weird. But I think I am officially an artist because I sold something for $450!!! Spent the day in Kansas City and it was gorgeous. Saw the Princess Diana exhibit - the wedding dress is amazing and so were all the other dresses. But got home and found out between 60% and 75% of Joplin is gone - destroyed by an F4 tornado! Damn, Kansas got it last night and now Missouri. These storms are terrifying ( Read more... )

American Idol bleeped Shih tzu. WTF?

Sick. At work and sick. And 2 other people are here working who are sick too. We are all miserable.

I just spent 8 hours scrapbooking. I can't feel my legs anymore and the couch looks like something exploded around it. I wanted to do a Sherlock Holmes themed book and - I did.
