Analysis.

Perhaps this graphical representation can further illustrate the highs and lows of certain aspects of my life throughout 2006 referenced in my last post. Granted, it's more of an intuitive/qualitative approach, but you get the general idea of the characteristic trends.

Yeah, I woke up this morning, had this idea to create this chart and ran to the desk in my home office to start writing down notes for its representation.

I think I may start doing this every year, or, to yield more accurate results, every month of the year with a final analysis to ring in the next new year.

Wochya!

I was looking for the link to the regressive analysis program that did that! hah - awesome analysis you did.

Glad things are all trending to the higher positions on the chart.

Happy New Year!

Thanks!
Nope, it was just me having fun with MS Paint (although I probably could have done better with MathCad). :-)
Yes, both the positions and relative derivitives of the final data points are all positive, which is a good thing.

Predictable how Love and Happiness correlate, as well as job, quality of life, and financial standing. Poor friendship is its own independant entity. I guess it's when friendship aligns with financial standing that you need to worry:)

Happy New Year!

Predictable, yes, but notable is the interaction between all of them, such as happiness related to news of a better job and increase in quality of life at the end of the year. Also worth noting is that in September, most trends suffered, depicting a relationship between love and everything else.
I wouldn't have normally done something like this representation, but this past year was so incredibly extreme with respect to all aspects that it warranted this kind of graphical over-simplification.
