Across the weight room, Jai felt a shiver work its way down his spine, feeling someone's gaze boring holes straight through him. This was why he hated living at the tower with the other Teen Titans; he wasn't a Titan, he was just an ordinary kid with a superhero for a sister and a father. He shifted from one foot to the other, before dropping the ten pound weights and sneaking away into the showers.

At fifteen years old, Jai, despite having his mother's coloring, was growing up looking more and more like his father since puberty hit him hard the summer of his thirteenth year. He lingered, staring at the full length mirror. He had shot up like a beanstalk: tall, thin and gangly, composed of all limbs and unable to put on the weight to keep up with his growing. He envied the fact that his sister never went through a phase this awkward, but she had superpowers, she probably chose to skip the awkward years.

"God, you look like a fucking noodle."

Jai jumped at the voice, throwing a towel protectively around his shoulders. A figure filled the space in the mirror next to him.

Damian Wayne, Robin, was his exact opposite. They were the similar in height, sure, but Damian was thick, built entirely out of lean muscle, cut from his neck down to his ankles. Jai stared at Damian's reflection in the mirror, dressed in only a pair of shorts, following the lines of his abs and the way the muscles in his arms visibly flexed and tensed with the slightest movement. Damian had the kind of body that Jai envied.

"Even your sister was more cut at your age," Damian snorted, grabbing Jai's wrist and shaking his arm, which waggled like a limp piece of string.

"My sister," Jai protested, trying to pull his arm back, "fights with you guys. I don't." He gave up on becoming a hero the same day Iris had stolen his powers. Instead, he became obsessed with muscular men and their bodies, remembering the days when he too was capable of flexing his biceps and lifting elephants over his head.

Jai turned quickly, trying to gather up his things - an extra towel, a water bottle, his clothes - and in his hurry he dropped his magazine. He paused, feeling a shiver work its way down his spine, when he watched a hand reach for it - Damian's hand. Shit, he thought.

"A muscle magazine?" There was laughter in Damian's voice as he flipped through the pages, many of which were dog eared, specifically on the pages of the men he found particularly interesting to look at.

"Give it back!" Jai reached for it quickly, but his hand was slapped away.

Damian held the magazine above his head, purposely keeping it just out of reach, knowing that Jai wouldn't raise his arms for fear of dropping his towel. "I had no idea you were such a fag. So muscular men get you off, because there's no way you're trying to be a body builder with those noodles of yours."

"I'm not a f-f-- i'm not gay!" Jai protested, stomping his foot on the ground.

"Oh yeah?" Damian smacked the magazine across Jai's nose, like a dog, making him flinch. "Prove it."

Prove it? Jai stared up at him, eyes wide. He couldn't understand how someone could prove they weren't gay, short of hooking up with a woman right there and then. "How the hell am I supposed to prove it?" he challenged, thinking, for once, he got the best of Damian.

Jai regret the words moments after he said them. Before he knew it, Damian was suddenly wrestling him up against the mirror, the towel falling from his shoulders, a hard thigh sliding between his legs. Cold glass made Jai's skin prickle with goosebumps, and his head was framed by Damian's strong hands.

It didn't matter that they were nearly the same height, because Damian somehow made it feel Jai feel several inches shorter. Jai tried to swallow, but his throat suddenly felt impossibly dry, and he was staring hard at the dip of Damian's chest, trying to focus on the breastbone and not the firm, hard muscle of his pecs. They were impossible to ignore, flexing with each breath, and Jai swore he could see the fibers of the muscle beneath Damian's smooth skin.

"Jesus, Jai." Damian's voice startled Jai from his obsession, and he hadn't even realized he had gone breathless until he felt his own chest seize, and he was panting. "You are doing a shit job of proving me wrong."

Damian shifted, pressing closer, and Jai became aware of the feeling of pressure between his legs, the hard muscle of Damian's thigh pushing up against his balls and he realized, in horror, that his cock was reacting.

"I'm not--" Jai tried to protest, but he was distracted and he lost the words before he could even find them.

"You have one last chance to prove to me you aren't gay," Damian challenged, his hands sliding down to Jai's thin shoulders.

In the moment, Jai only felt fear, the sense that Damian would tell everyone that he was hard while being pressed against a mirror in the tower locker room. In all the years they had known each other, Jai was convinced Damian hated him, always seeing and feeling a gaze of contempt on him whenever they shared the same room. Jai was convinced that Damian was having a field day. "Wh-what do I have to do?" he stuttered.

"Push me away."

"Push you--" Confusion melted into clarity when Jai felt Damian's lips against his own, warm and dry and Jai wanted to push him away, wanted to prove that he wasn't gay, but he felt his chest swell and his lips part and he couldn't.

Damian's tongue was wet and pliable as it licked Jai's lips before sliding inside, invasive and curious, and all Jai could do was cling to him, hands tightening over the hard flesh of Damian's biceps, the feeling of muscle flexing beneath his palm enough to make his body tremble.

Jai lost track of time, sandwiched between the cold glass of the mirror, and the hot firmness of Damian's body, mouths open, tongues exploring, chests pressed together. Jai never managed to push Damian away, but he couldn't help but notice when Damian came inside his shorts, feeling every muscle of his body tense and tremble and then relax, loose against Jai's body.

And Jai hoped that Damian didn't notice when he did the same thing.
