Myspace...
Dear Myspace:
So for sexuality, you have, gay, straight, bi, and not sure. However for sex, you have male and female. Are you dictatiing that someone has to be sure about those things no matter what? why can't I be unsure about my gender? Why can't I refuse to put it? WHy can't I just put andro or other? Unfortunately most social websites like MySpace only have male and female for gender. I think an option that would allow you to write in what you want for gender instead of boxes where you check male or female would be great.

If you expected enlightened options from _Myspace_, you were a little naive I think. Sorry, but Myspace doesn't seem the sort of place to think about people who don't conform to traditional gender identities.

Just one more reason MySpace is on my AVOID AT ALL COSTS list.
Facebook, is okay, with the SGO application. And I suppose you don't NEED to fill out a gender on your regular profile if you don't want to. But I'm not sure on that.

This pissed me off originally as well.
Randomly, the cool thing about livejournal and facebook is, if you don't put in a gender the website will call you "they" whenever they need a pronoun. Yay!
