My first love...

How I missed it. I get so excited when we’re in class or a lecture and the teacher brings up art. All of a sudden I get a rush of thoughts and I just want to explode because I would love to tell everyone about it.

Hi Marie,

I like how you’ve mentioned that a painting paints more than a thousand words. I find it sometimes that there are no words even. It just becomes a rush of thoughts that words cannot express at times. Thus, it’s probably the reason that artworks become famous as there are no words to capture the essence but rather it just allows one to daze of into their own imagination.
Fabulous entry Marie! It’s rich and very intriguing. Keep up the good work! :)

"And they were fascinated in the very notion of imagination itself. Through this I realised that through nature, Romantics were inspired and able to ignite the inner imagination of their audiences"

This observation is brilliant. It's a beautiful summary of what the romantics were all about. It's entertaining for me to read an entry like this from you because I can "feel your passion" so to speak. This is great for me because I have such a limited appreciation for physical art. Reading your entry made me want to check out some paintings and see if I could reproduce the excitement that you showed. Personally, my favorite form of art is music. Like you said above, all the different art forms effected one and another. Listening to composers like Richard Wagner, Beethoven, Franz Schubert is another great way to really experience the romantic period. Great job!
