I might write a completely different review if I waited until I've had a chance to absorb, re-read, discuss, etc.

But, ( Read more... )

I've bookmarked this and will read it once I've read the book. It still hasn't been shipped from Amazon.uk :-( *huge theatrical sigh*

Well, I don't know anything about Twilight - rather, I didn't know much about it until I read my friends list today :-) - but it's been interesting being an outside observer of the whole 'last book reading frenzy' thing this time.

I'm glad you enjoyed the book and series on the whole. I'm glad it ROCKS being on the 'winning side' this time! :-)

I read the review out of curiosity, to decide whether I should read it (and the last one, which I still haven't picked up). I guess this means your answer is "yes"? At least I've found a free source, as one of my friends lamented on Friday that she was being forced to take her two daughters to the midnight release event at B&N. I was highly amused, but of course I only do that kind of thing for Harry.

Oh yes, I'm definitely glad I read "Breaking Dawn." "Eclipse is still the weak link as far as I'm concerned. I still stand by my earlier harsh comments about it, and I now think it really *was* a waste, because I see nothing that happened in it that couldn't have been handled in BD. :)

I haven't read your review yet, because I haven't read the book - but I just thought I'd tell you that I picked up a copy today, and instead of reading all the foody stuff I was going to read tonight, I'm going to be reading Breaking Dawn instead. I'll come back to you afterwards....

I think I'm going to take this review home with me and cuddle it all night long. I nodded so much as I read that I gave myself whiplash ( ... )

*Tried* to reply to this yesterday, but Mozilla froze up on me (didn't we rant about that at Portus?) for the umpteenth time. Grr.......

Anyway, LOL that you agreed so throughly with my review (*glad* you did not in fact inflict whiplash on yourself over it though!). It's great to find someone else who LOVED the book, even if willing to admit it has a couple of flaws. I'm definitely planning a re-read very soon. And I need my kids to go back to school so that when I'm driving around town, I could be listening to the audio-book. :D

I *so* love Edward. OMG. Going to turn into a squealing teenage girl at that film in December, I just know it.
