Well, if not IV needles, how about tattoo needles? I know a guy who's a wizard with those.

Well, as far as that goes, my aunt is amazing with knitting and crocheting needles. But none of them have ever hissed at me.

I judge no needle until it makes itself a friend or an enemy.

They are lovely. Elegantly simple, multicolored, the epitome of the right-tool-for-the-job philosophy. Yarn almost begs to be woven into elaborate creations around them. I like your knitting and crochet needles too!

IV needles are usually connected to an electronic monitor. Since all things electronic are sentient and like to speak to you, calling you "TECH MASTER", you might talk the monitor into whipping the needle into shape.

Well, not quite all things. But a lot of them! Unfortunately, the sentience of IV needles is different. Hostile. Sneaky. Out to get me.

See the link at the top of this LJ entry! Vinci posted about having an IV while recovering in the hospital. I replied in a squicked-out manner to the post, because needles are nasty yucky unpleasant things to me. The link at the top is the pic Vinci drew about my reaction to needles!
