I'm glad your parent can take it gracefully. It's people like Opa Slinger (I guess you could call him my granduncle-in-law... or something like that. Dad's sister's father-in-law) that I pity. He's in his 90s, intent on making everyone miserable (himself included), and absolutely terrified to die.

I have been keeping good thoughts for you and your parent, Gene. While I am not in the same situation as you, I too have been putting thought into taking better care of myself as a result of my father's current fight with cancer. I wish the best for you and yours.
