Just taking a bit of a Litmus test. I still intend to get into book form, but I listen to more voices than just the ones in my head.

Books on a whole seem to be a dieing breed.. what with the electronic crap.

Though I have a personal grudge against comic books and webcomics on a whole when it comes to my rl partner LOL (dispite the fact that I do read a few myself)

But I agree with Kevin. It is solely up to the artist/creator/author if he/she wants to put out a book. Because there will be days like he said when you can't get access to electicity for the intrawebs or to read your kendle!

I love books myself, and intend to create some webcomic compilations. But I didn't want to think it was all vanity on my part!

Yes, I would buy the dead tree format- I've done this with a few other webcomics as well.

I wouldn't ever consider them a complete waste of time. Since I'm getting back into publishing, after my own not-so-good experiences, I'm really just getting some feedback from you folks.

I have to agree with all the above so far.

Hardcopy comics will always have a market, just so long as you think there will be.

Having said that, it does seem to be getting more expensive to print comics than it used to be.

Really? The prices seem to have stabilized, from what I've seen.
