It all started when a male patient, who is about my age, had this to say about my culinary knowledge:

"Doctora, kawawa naman mapapangasawa nyo, mamamatay sa gutom".

And he said this just because I didn't know what galunggong was.

(I'm sorry, I don't eat it, I think I haven't eaten one, and I'm pretty sure I haven't seen one. So kill me.)
