Geeeene why don't you live in Texas? :(

And if you're going into anthro, are you going to try to stay in Michigan? Woould you consider Chicago? :]

Well...it is another one of those "I will go into any program that would accept me." lol. Well, I think I might try to stay in Michigan. Chicago sounds appealing and so does any place that doesn't drop below zero degrees on a seasonal basis (i.e. Texas).

At this point, I don't have any real antro. lab experience. Any program in paleoanthropology, osteology, or forensic anthropology seems to be the most appealing at this point.

Does your school not have any forensic anthro people you could work with?

Nope! There isn't any forensic anthro. people I could work with in Ann Arbor.

Happy belated 21st! It's a shame I didn't get to see you um. Drunk-cuddling with Jordan? :P

Oh dear. Gene is a rum guy. Hahaha.

What kinds of topics was Jordan rattling on about?

Nah! No one else was drunk enough to cuddle so I just hugged a pillow. I figure that was probably for the best.

And I feel like it is a shame that I am a rum guy! It contains as much alcohol as most of the aqueous solutions of ethanol that we used in my old chemistry classes (like 40-70% by volume). It isn't like I can sip a can's worth over the course of a night, I would be smashed (which I tried)!

I pretty much listened to Jordan talk about history, politics, and business for three or four hours and I commentated every other minute or so. It was really awesome. In the end it became apparent that everything boils down to the rich getting richer.

I wish I knew why too...and you would think like the first time humans learned how to smear pigments on walls to make images the first thing they would do is paint a massive phallus (if they were male). Alas, I don't recall ever seeing a cave drawing like that and this makes me assume that women were perhaps the first painters (lol).

We should hang out soon and I am totally around on the weekends as always! Oh, by the way, how is Brian doing and how was your trip?!
