{ ShinRa Electric Power Company }
Rufus ShinRa // The President
Aside from Veld and Tseng, this is the only man Reno's ever happy to obey. Rufus is as unyielding and shrewd as himself when he needs to be, but the man's a snake in the grass that not only knows what he wants, but knows how to get it, even if he has to play nice. Ever since Rufus assisted the Turks in their struggles against ShinRa--saving Veld and and saving their asses from being executed, Reno's held tremendous respect for this smart man. Reno still gives him lip and skirts around some rules here and there, as is his nature, but Rufus puts Reno's skills and preferences for missions to good use, much to his delight. He works for Rufus with gusto, his loyalty belonging to ShinRa before anyone else.
Elena Mellas // The Rookie
Reno and Elena didn't always get along. Professionalism aside, their techniques were vastly different, and the newbie that did everything by the book got on his nerves. But Reno warmed up to her. They still butt heads, but they function on the same frequency, and more importantly, Reno's developed a fondness for her, and regards her as an important member of the Turk team. As a member of that team, he and Rude trained her, and now trusts her to handle her own business. He still teases her endlessly between missions, acting much like an older brother figure, and he's still cold with her sometimes, but if she gets herself in over her head, he'll do his best to come to her aid.
Zachary Fair // The SOLDIER
Smile! Zack's eagerness to please and excel, his endless optimism, and strong heart had truck a chord with Reno. It wasn't without difficulty, and even Zack's monumental patience and friendliness is tested by Reno's difficult ways, but he earned a prominent and important place in Reno's cold heart. He does dearly love him, and though he has a hard time showing it, he tries. Reno remains a dependable and steadfast pillar in his life, doing his best to there when needed. Frowns don't suit his Zack, so he's quick to distract and try to brighten his mood when he can, even going so far once as to tell him his real name to make him feel better. It'd be nice if they didn't have to sneak around, but to make up for the shortcomings his title as Turk imposes, he tries to protect Zack from anything ShinRa might do to them.

Unit 202 // The Trainee
Reno hasn't really made any new friends since arriving to Ruby City, but out of all the people he's familiar with, Unit 202 comes as close to the definition of 'friend' that anyone can get. Give it a few years and they could probably become tight buddies, especially since they have a lot in common. She proves to be an exceptional fighter, she can hold her booze without any problems, and she appreciates Reno's professionalism and his way of handling issues. She can also tolerate the fact that, underneath that flirtatious fodder, Reno's a man born and bred to kill when the orders are given. She'll make excellent Turk material, but he doubts she's willing to make the necessary sacrifices, i.e. her sister.

{ Turks never fail a mission. }
Conan Edogawa // The Informant
Reno met Conan shortly after arriving to the city. This kid called him 'Reno-niisan,' much to Reno's surprised, and even shock since him and children do not mix well. However, after a quick chat on the communicators with Elena, Reno gave the kid a chance and has found that this kid is not only as competent as a Turk at gathering intel, but he's also capable of comprehending various fractions of information and put the pieces of the puzzle together. Whenever something's going on, Reno knows who to go to for any sort of information first, but on his down time, he doesn't mind talking with the kid. They get along alright since Conan's mature for his age.
Aqua // The Swordswoman
Upon first arriving, Reno was caught in a shitstorm of a siege. Creatures called Heartless were attacking the city and causing chaos. Among the chaos, Reno found these people capable of wielding the only thing that could permanently kill a Heartless, called a keyblade. Among those people was Aqua, a strong warrior with a good head on her shoulders. Since then, Reno's been looking for an in with the wielders, knowing their skill and prowess with magics could prove useful. This in came in the form of a recent onslaught of manifested fears attacking the people. Reno, looking for intel on the situation, contacted her and struck up conversation, flirting with her and offering to hone her skills with a sword. Reno plans on using Aqua's apparent leadership skills and influence to try and coerce the wielders to join ShinRa's cause.
Ludwig // The German Nation
Ludwig was the second nation Reno met. He seems pretty distant and well disciplined, and his physique tells Reno that this man knows how to fight. Though he knows very little about Ludwig/Germany, he offered to take the guy out to drinks and they got to chatting about their own worlds. Just like Vash, this nation's representative shows the same neigh indestructible traits. Since normal methods of injury--being stabbed, shot, or even infected with pathogens--will not kill the nations, they are prime candidates in Reno's book to be recruited. Plus, this guy can hold some fucking alcohol and likes to party hard when he's dunk. This is awesome.
Vash // The Swiss Nation
Vash was the first nation Reno met upon returning to Ruby City for the third time. after a brief chat over the communicators, Vash appears to have an analytical mind, and shows the same signs of self-discipline that Ludwig does. Likewise, subsequent posts show that he's a determined fighter, and refuses to give up, even when felled. Reno plans to investigate and test the lengths of the Swiss Nation's analytical skills while using him as an in to get to know the other nations better. If he meets Reno's expectations, Reno plans to attempt enrolling him in ShinRa's cause as a switch-hitter, doubling as a tactician or fighter.
Gilbert // Red Eyes
Reno met this color-less character during the fear event. After seeing him flip out about something coming out of the mirror, which was news, Reno stepped in to investigate. Which proved to be the right move. These two assholes hit it right off once Reno started trollan to entertain himself. When Reno learned Gilbert was another one of the nations, he was quickly added to the list. Given what he knows of Gilbert from their conversation, he'd have the easiest time getting into Gilbert and Ludwig's good graces to learn what he can about all of the present nations. Professionalism aside, Gilbert's pretty damn good when it comes to wordplay. Reno takes great amusement in going back and forth with him.
Theta // The Puppetmaker
First met just before the Heartless incident, Reno had no opinion of her, other than she was overly cocky. During the events, she proved to be a terrible manipulator, but he took notice in her skills as a craftsman, much to the effect that Reeve is. Reno didn't seem to give two fucks about what she did during the Heartless event, though he was mindful about the politics of the city and was careful about using Theta's skills for his own purposes. Since Rufus promised reform, the climate around her has dulled a little, though Reno can still easily sense the hostility at times of stress. He seems to care little for this as long as it doesn't give himself a bad reputation, and keeps up friendly appearances with Theta for later use. He also uses her relations to various parties as networking opportunities.
Tavros // The Troll
Tavros was the third troll he met, the first being Equius and the second Gamzee. His first encounter with Equius didn't go well, but when Tavros made a public call asking for anyone that had seen him, Reno used the opportunity to begin making connections with the trolls. Tavros seems pretty shy, but otherwise easy to talk to and get information from. Reno's asked Tavros to invite him to any get-togethers the Trolls might host, stating that he enjoyed the short time he spent talking with Gamzee.
Terezi Pyrope // The Legislacerator
Reno monitors the communicators almost constantly, searching for possible recruits. Among them was Terezi, who took an initiative in investigating the occurrences. While she wasn't the only one asking for information, she seemed to have a good head on her shoulders and decent leadership skills, though this was only at a glance. He responded to her inquiry since she was another one of the trolls that Tavros described as being a lot sturdier than humans. He told her to keep in touch with himself and Elena concerning the course of events, and will continue to monitor her actions since she shows interest in a field of law, which takes cunning and intelligence.
N Harmonia // The Beast Tamer
His meeting with N was brief, but what he did see was impressive. This guy uses creatures called Pokémon to do his bidding, though he claims he asks them, rather than commands them, and they do as he asks willingly and happily. Either way, Reno came upon them remodeling a chain of stores to make a grand house, and a few of them exhibited exceptional skills in his presence. Skills that would be of great use on the battlefield. N seems to be aloof and the controlling type that easily takes offense to his companions being labeled as anything less that friends. It will take some time for someone of Reno and N's personality types to get along, but for the sake of his mission, he'll do well to mind what he says. ...To a point.
Temper Vale // The Visitor
Reno got lucky. He stumbled across this cat's video on the communicator, and, noticing just how amused and calm this fellow was, investigated. Much to Reno's delight, Temper is in league with the Interloper and Watcher, though he and the brothers he speaks of seem to be benevolent observers, meddling in affairs whenever they like, helping or teasing at their whim. However, after Reno's attempts at his usual method of gathering information failed, he was invited to simply and blatantly ask any question he liked. Reno took the opportunity and ran with it, and Temper answered every question. Though Reno
detailed their conversation in a formal report--and even stuck around to
eavesdrop on his conversation with Riku--he's highly skeptical. Since they seem to get along, Reno plans to spend a little more time with him.
