I have been cleaning out my computer and came across this! its an old rhyme one of my school friends made up about me in my French lessons. For reference Mr Gray was my french tutor and Paul Luke was my best friend at school. I still haven't met Bess though! Enjoy :-P
The rhyme of Abdul Adaam
Abdul is an autocratic dictator
Of credit and renown,
A true Tsar eke was he
Of dumpy Basildon town.
Adaam lived in the UAE
A barren desert of sand
There he often liked to shout
“I will nuke your land”.
By the age of tenty one
Was Abdul a deadly man
Once ten tedious year no secretary having had
On democracy he imposed a ban.
Adaam’s trip to Basildon was
His life’s great success
There he set up his nuking station
And met his secretary Bess.
“Une Autocratic dictateur avec beaucoup de nukes”
the French did call him then
so Abdul prepared to nuke them all
he just couldn’t decide when.
For his GCSE, Adaam took
Geography, art and French all gay
So he set about planning his bomb,
And how to annoy Gray.
At the height of his nuclear breakthrough
Was Abdul harshly betrayed
his secretary Bess who was really French
he did cruelly slay.
Finally came the time of day
When the nuke is to be fired
Yet the 500 tons of plutonium waste
Was less than Adaam desired.
By 2065 being 81
Did Adaam finally complete
His masterpiece to solve the puzzle
Of the way to French defeat.
At that time Abdul had a beard
And a moustache too
But still was he happy to see
The nuking of Versailles’ roof.
So died Autocratic Adaam happy and glad,
Having nuked the hated Paris
He got Paul Luke to bounce the bomb
And hit the mirrored palace.
Here ends the tale
