MASAOMI KIDA is now HEADLESS. He is a Dullahan and as such he has no head but instead a black smoke pouts out of his neckhole (see gan_ceann's icons for examples) But! He's also on his feet and without any cast or brace, and he's not hitting the town by storm to HIT ON EVERY GIRL EVERWhile headless

[ i am a girl for a week. and still have not realized that i have not always been a girl and therefore should not be walking around in nice spring clothes meant for girls. nor should i be wondering if maybe i should have gone with a dress like the people home would wear instead. these modern clothes are nice, cute and flashy but - but - but they really aren't decent and papa wouldn't approve. :< ]

[Cheyenne hadn't seem Masaomi since the draft. It was probably better that way, now that he had seen exactly what sort of creature she is.]

[Unfortunately, she's not that sort of creature right now and so she can't tell that the headless boy wandering around the village is Masaomi. Even if he did have a head! Which... he doesn't. Which makes him the most disturbing thing she's seen so far with her new eyes. So she's just... going to stare from a distance.]

[You know the thing about not having a head is that no one can really tell where you're looking. Because, you know, while dullahans can't eat or speak or smell, they can see perfectly fine. Maybe better? It's hard for him to get a feel for, well, what he's looking at. Which is why he's "glancing around" all over the place. Though without a head, this probably looks odd indeed as his shoulder keep shrugging an the mist coming out of his neckhole shifts a bit here and there.

...There's a little blonde girl in the distance. Hm. He could - should - approach, but the size and build reminds him on Cheyenne. Wary]

[As the girl gets a little closer, Masaomi takes not it's just that she looks like Cheyenne, it's that she is Cheyenne. And her eyes are open-

Masaomi jumps literally two feet backwards in one leap and adopts a more defensive posture. He would have yelped if he had a mouth, and he wants to slam his eyes shut but... he doesn't have eyes? How does he even do that? As it stands, he just turns his whole upper body to not look at her face]

[A headless boy coming at her out of nowhere is one of the last things Vivi expects (and for good reason), and she gives a sharp gasp, taking a few quick steps back and falling into a defensive position. It's a moment later she notices the way he's holding his hands, and remembers that a lot of people aren't exactly themselves just now. Her posture relaxes, though not completely.] Oh! I-I'm sorry. You startled me.

[A small pause. Why did he run over here in the first place?] ...can I help you? [It's hard not to stare at his...lack of head.]

[SO RANKA WOKE UP HUMAN TODAY, thank goodness. Being a little green dude who couldn't really communicate - much, at least - had not been fun. So what does she do with her newly-returned humanity? Go out and frolic in the sun, of course! So, in the spirit of this, she's out in the plaza to take a good look at the shops and everything.]
