Reports from the accident site are confused and varied. Nobody seems to know whether Grand Admiral Bradley is dead or alive. And nobody knows, either, if the derailment was an accident, or whether it was sabotage

Yes, quite! I want added patrols of all entrances and sensitive areas, and through screening of anyone coming aboard for any reason. All VIPs should have bodyguards assigned to them to ensure their safety - people we trust, please.

Why, yes they were! But given the gravity of the situation, it is my prerogative and debateably obligation as senior officer to assume command in the interim. I believe if you check the regulations you'll find that it's all quite proper.

I am well aware of the regulations, General. However, several - if not the majority - of the men and women on this ship were formerly under my command. I believe that my familiarity with them will be a great asset.

Why, that's why I'm putting you in charge of arranging security, Miles! I've already described my orders above, so hop to it!
Don't worry, I don't intend to push you out of the picture. I just feel that this job it too important to trust to anyone not myself - even someone as obviously capable as yourself.
Did you not state that you were on vacation? It would look bad for the military, if we forced someone to lose vacation time, whether they volunteered or not.
Especially when the the first mate gave explicit orders already, about who is in command.
Oh ho, I hope you're aware that this could be interpreted as a form of insubordination, my good man! Don't worry, I won't say anything, but you should be mindful of who you sound off to. Not every senior officer is as lenient as I. You should hear some stories about our lovely first mate's father, oh my!
Believe you me, son, I'm not a fan of cutting my vacation short either. But a General is never truly off-duty, and it would look much worse if harm should come to any of our important passengers while a senior military official sat right next door and did nothing, don't you agree?

Commander Edgeworth has been tasked with managing the added security, so if you're looking for a more specific job to do, I would advise speaking with him!
Well, from the crew, of course. A simple shifting of duties toward guard duty, and a temporary slashing of downtime should provide us with all the security personnel we need.
