Bill is sleeping soundly this morning. He has been sleeping better since we returned from the hospital a few days ago, although he is on medication to keep him a bit more comfortable. It is a challenge each day to make him take the medication, but I believe he is beginning to see the necessity.

I'm glad he has you to keep his pessimism in check. Over-thinking is the downfall of all with intelligence.

Been praying for you both for months now, and I'll tell you that you'll both continue to be the first on my mind til at least Christmas day. I hope your wedding is. Well, indescribable, I suppose. What you both wish for.

And I hope you realize, then, that you are not the lesser half. Bill is, without a doubt, an amazing man, and I only know him from dA. Keeping up with your updates here, though; they've grown longer, had more about you as well as Bill in their corners. I find myself thinking on a regular basis of you both, and wishing you had more time together.

I am relatively nameless to you both, however; always watched Bill and his writings from afar, too overwhelmed to really say anything. So I will end my four a.m. ramblings here: I'd just discovered this song a few days ago, and it brought out some fierce emotions in me to see it again, here. Compelled me to comment.

Relationships are not made up of halves, they are made up of wholes, the sum of which increases not linearly, but in orders of magnitude. That you each will consider yourself not the lesser of the pair, but the other the greater has more to do with the strength of your character, your humility and the strength of your relationship than it could be based in any math.
