Now excuse me while I make my reason for not commenting on any of your other chapters -- it's simply because I found your stories today, through... searching 'Reid Hotch', bluntly speaking into google.

I've watched the shows obsessively, but never have I ever considered stories, until curiosity got the better of me this weekend and I popped onto FF.net for stories. I ran out of stories there, and came back to livejournal and.. :')

This is the first story ever in my life that even remotely brought tears to my eyes. I'm even amazed I could tear up from a story.

It was just written so well... and I'm only sorry to say I wasnt here for the journey!

Oh wow, the magic of google! Haha. I love that. And man, it really means a lot to me, as a writer, to know that my story is able to make such an emotional impact on my readers.

I don´t know if I should shoot your or hug you. Shoot you for killing Reid or hug you for this brilliantly and heartbreaking fic.

I guess I´ll have to go with a hug because my eyes are so full of tears I would miss anyway. I only found this fic today and it´s amazing.

Ugh. I'm sniffling and snivelling. My glasses are spotted with tears. My head hurts. I sooooo don't do agnst well.

While I don't think I will be reading another sad story for a loooong time, I will say that this was well done. I am glad that if you were going to write something that hurts to read that you made it a good story worth reading. Bravo for that.

Two comments: please include a warning in your story description... if not character death, than 'high agnst'. I know it would give a hint to where your story is going but I generally do avoid tear-jerkers.

And, do you have recommendations for happy silly funny Hotch/Reid stories to read? I think you owe me that, snort.

Wanted to let you know I agree with the Thou Shalt Not Kill Spencer Reid commandment, yet this story transcended that. So incredibly sad! One of two pieces of fanfic (I've read everything, I think) that can make me cry. Really amazing. Thank you so much for writing and posting.

Yes, it was a tough decision for me to make if I wanted Reid to die in this fic, and when I did, it really left me heartbroken as I was writing it.
