A Happier Man

Jul 16, 2014 23:12

Someone told me the other day: "The only time we write in our diaries is when we're miserable.  Pages and pages of misery."

Lately, I can't seem to write here anymore.

Does that mean that I'm a happier man?

I don't know if I agree with that. At least for me, when I am very miserable, I don't do ANYTHING.

Veg-ing out is natural response. There are definitely weekends when I just stay in bed.

But I don't think that's too healthy either.

Not necessarily, though I hope you are.

For me, becoming unable to write about things is one of the red flags.

All these years and I still don't know what you look like or who you are; and yet you've always taken a keen interest in what I write here.

I like it :)

So romantic!

Welcome to the internet my love (ca 2005?)

I did have an actual userpic up for a while in about 2010 or something. You told me I was beautiful and you didn't know why I didn't like pictures.

(But then, you genuinely *do* say that to all the girls)

It was too blurry and small, so that doesn't count.
I need a real "reveal" of yours. Like on Skype or something. We should get on it. And talk.

Heck, our relationship should have at least crossed into Viber territory by now.

I think it's true for some people. I know I had to take a break from LJ for years because I would use it to focus and validate my miserable feelings. I eventually learned how to use writing as a way to go beyond just recycling the shit.

Meh. I probably just use it to pick up girls.
