A little emotional.

How do you stop your little one from growing? He's going to be five months old soon. Five months? I bet that's hard for a lot of you LJers who I've been friends with since I was pregnant to believe. He now laughs AT EVERYTHING. He screams like a little girl and it is HILARIOUS. He babbles constantly. He sits in Mommy's lap patiently and seems ( Read more... )

Hi Kathy ;-) kingbowser123 January 5 2006, 15:40:16 UTC
In high school all girls go through a snooty phase and some of even continue to act like that into adulthood. I know this because my sister is going through hers :-(. You've grown through it. Congrats ;-D. Having the responsibilities of a mother and LJ has helped you. That's nice to know. I like mature women over hyper-active 16 year olds any day.

I'm not really sure what else to say since I feel tired right now. I just thought I would drop by this LJ since you have the courtesy to come over to mine ;-).

C u around,

I totally understand your awe! Every day I look at my daughter and how much she can do, and I am amazed! It's still hard for me to grasp that I am a parent and this is a lifetime commitment. I have always been afraid of commitment and always ran away from them, and now.. here is this little human being, dependant on me, and I love it!!

It's amazing how much children can change you, isn't it??

Yep, our little ones definately change us. Even tho I have three, they all have special places inside my heart. Ive been so emotional lately and have been noticing myself cry a whole bunch when Im watching them play together, or when they make me something special out of play dough, or even just watching them sleep.

Its such a dramatic change from the way you were before you have kids, my mom used to always tell me "you'll never know the real meaning of the word WORRIES until you have your own children" and you know, she was right. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont worry about my kids. In fact, right now, as Im sitting here at work Im wondering "Is Baby Belle ok? Has she had a nap yet?" "Did Seamus remember to return his library book?" "Did Sarah keep her gloves on during recess, I dont want her to get cold" ......ahhh, the joys of mommyhood :)
