I had a near-miss in New York a few years back when I noticed a parkway entrance ramp almost too late and decided to make the 180-degree turn at about 50 mph. I skidded out and butted up against a very large snow pile, stopping me dead and leaving the car icy but undamaged. If only all turns could be so nicely padded.
(By the way, why is this only "another option for GNOME users"? I still like KDE. ;) )
