what do pancakes taste like?

i'm allergic to eggs and i've never had it. i can't eat anything with eggs and someone was raving about these pancakes they had and i asked them to explain it to me, and all they told me was it was like.. cake.

I can't have cake.

Then they said it was like a crepe.

I can't have crepes.

It's all circular motion

I'm not a big fan of the pancake...but can you have egg substitute? If so, you could make them using that I imagine. ;o>

i can't.
i'm allergic to the protiens that are in the eggs, and usually the egg substitutes are just a less fatty version of a normal egg.

Imagine bread, but denser, and warm, with a tinge of sweetness in it. Now, butter and sweet maple syrup to taste.

aren't there some mixes where you only add water? or do they still have egg in it?

pancakes are... fluffy. they're light and airy and soft and melt in your mouth... um as for what they actually taste like, really nothing unless you add something to them like fruit. you taste the syrup.
