Who: Matt, open
When: A couple of weeks after his arrival, early morning
Where: Record Shop
What: Matt has arrived to open shop and discovered some unpleasant things
Rating/Warnings: Possibly foul language
He hadn't expected it. Who would? He'd had the job for just over two weeks and this? Well, he was ready to quit, especially since the owner was on holiday and wouldn't be back for two more weeks. How was he going to explain to his employer that not only had the shop been broken into, but a dead body had been found inside. He'd checked the man's pulse but he'd been cold to touch. Matt knew a dead body when he found one.
It had been a rather calm call he made to the police and the teenager had seated himself behind the counter, regardless of the smashed in front window, trashed stacks and dead body. He'd lit a cigarette, but touched nothing.
Matt was sure he'd be questioned for a while, but he was beginning to wonder why he even came to England. America was home, yet he didn't really remember when he'd got to England. Oh well. He didn't need to remember. He was working a good job, had a nice one room bedsit, he didn't need anything else.
