Bardessono Bedroom aka $700 a night
Feb 17, 2009 09:40
Here are some of the picutres I promised to post. I'll post more later.
This is the patio/garden area of my room. Every room has a "private" garden. Some even have a shower and a bathtub out there.
TV and fireplace. Fireplace didn't work while I was staying there and the TV was a little touchy.
My little desk. Not very big, but big enough for my laptop. Of course this isn't really a business type local. Definately the relaxing vacation spot.
My big comfy bed. The picture over the bed is of local vinyards...it is Napa Valley. It was kind of nice to sleep in a hotel bed that no one had slept in before. There is no carpeting in the room. The floor is made of tufa stone which is throughout the property. Kind of cold first thing in the morning, but I suppose in the summer that wouldn't be a bad thing.
This is the last section of the "bedroom" area. They don't have rollaway beds but these couches can be converted into a twin bed. Not the most comforatable, but it works. There is supposed to be an end table on the left hand side, but they made the couch too long so they were going through and cutting the end tables in half to fit the space. The right side had wine fridge, but no mini bar. The brought fresh bottled water every day. The hotel actually bottled their own water which was pretty cool. They had still and sparkling water.
