I was sexually harrassed by a guy down at CyberLAN, so with the encouragement of one of my friends, I emailed the owners. Now they want me to talk to a police officer. I'm scared, and I don't want to tell my parents.

There's really nothing more to say..a guy who works at CyberLAN just totally invaded my personal space, said lewd things to me, and wouldn't back off.

I kept blaming myself for it until I realized that it was his fault, not mine.

FEH! .. i can't stand guys like that... (was he drunk?) well.. either way... he shouldn't have been doing anything like that, especially in his work setting... it's just despicable...... (and i'm guessing he wasn't cute.... and even if he was... still.. NO)...

Well the downside may be a ban from such places as they harbor "the unsavory types."

I dont know that your parents would be mad really, other than for delaying, but i think blatent sexual harrasment is wrong. If the girl says no, back off before you get maced(hope jim reads this > >)

My mother just tends to overreact. I'm gonna buy some mace to keep around me so I won't be afraid. If the people from CyberLAN email me back (which they have not), I will tell my parents. If they don't, or they don't need me to talk to an officer, then I won't tell my parents.
