His presence indeed did not go unnoticed. On the highest parapet of the castle, a figure emerged, almost as white as the snow its self, a young woman in a gown of white, her hair almost the same shade hanging down her back in long curls, lips red as blood.

She did not seem afraid, simply curious and possibly annoyed by the fact that the dragon had taken the time to come that close to her palace. Patient though, she waited for the dragon to come to where she was, plenty of space for him to perch upon the castle if he chose to speak to her.

Paarthurnax took note of her emergence and turned swiftly. The sky kept its peace as he curved to meet her, and that was invitation enough.

His landing shook snow from the gleaming parapet, claws curling tight over the crenellated edge, wings draping over the stone perch beneath him. He coiled his head low to study the one who awaited him, a gleam in his pale eyes. So, this was the mistress of the castle.

"Drem Yol Lok. I am Paarthurnax. I come to offer you greetings, vomindok."

"I am the Snow Queen," she replied primly, though not particuly angrily or haughtily.

She looked the dragon over slowly and walks forward, obviously not feeling that she was being threatened. The snow falcon that had been seen around the cities flew in with a cry, and came to land on her shoulder, ruffling its feathers before settling down.

"Why have you come to my palace today, mighty dragon?"

Paarthurnax watched intently, remembering what the hooded one had spoken of earlier. Worth measuring what he saw now against those words, and not just to test the honesty of their mysterious ally.

Still, he spoke quite at ease. "Frini rel. I was eager to speak with the one who raised this castle so near to my lair. Perhaps you will forgive my boldness, and my curiosity."
