huh?
So, this morning, I asked my supervisor about the schedule for the day, since I had a hunch we might have an assembly (its the last day before summer break) and the school has a bad habit of not telling me about schedule changes.
"Just normal classes" she said. I wasn't buying it, so I said -
"I thought there might be an assembly."
her- "No, no assembly. Just normal schedule."
me- "Oh, okay..."
her- "But, during 6th period the students will gather in the gym and kocho-sensei (principal) will speak- summer break is tomorrow, you know."
me- "Isn't that an assembly?"
her- "No, because the students can wear their gym clothes."
HUH? I don't understand this country.
