Hey Guys, how is everyone? It's been a long time since my last update, I've been working as a photographer and I've just gone free-lance so I have more time to do my own stuff, just did a studio shoot with the lovely Pheadra, thought I would give you a sneak peek! i'm hoping to get my website up and running soon just need to get my head around the ( Read more... )

Hello Honey, how are you? I checked out your website recently theres some great Graphic work on their I particularly like your DVD designs.... I'm very envious to hear about your new Digital Camera what did you buy in the end? I've been using a medium format camera (Contax 645) with a Phase one digital back, and I used the EOS-1Ds Mark II for the session with Pheadra but neither Carmeras are mine (mores the pity), I just borrowed them for my studio shoots. I'm after a Canon Eos 20D which is more my price range! Hopefully it will be mine in the not to distant future!

Hiya,
I'm fine. Not too much has changed since I last saw you.

My website is in serious need of updating. I have been so slack with it. I need to get some of the film work up and some more photographs. Unfortunately none of my DVD designs were finally used, the director went with a simpler look with a single photograph in the end.

I bought myself a Canon EOS 350D, there was a great sale over christmas and it came with a few optional extras. My god is it complicated. I can use a standard non-digital SLR no problem, but the sheer amount of control you can have on a digital model is mindboggling. I have been working on it on-off since christmas and I am only now really getting a hang of it.

Where abouts is the studio that you use? Can it be rented?

The studio I have been using recently is in Venture on Ebrington Street, so it was a favour as I had been working there as a photographer. There is studio space with lighting equipment etc that you can hire out in Exeter, If you are interested I will try and find out some more details as I may want to use it for my own work in the not to distant future. Ta Ta for now!!
