From the darkness "I wonder what role the couch will play
Another voice joined the first this one deeper and slightly more malevolent "yes there was a tree there last year"
"Do you remember a first" the original voice asks
"No I was not around for that but I have seen the few who survived the purge after it, the mad dash for control, for power, it destroyed many" the deep voice responded
"Yes but even after the dust cleared he still didn’t have one noticeable victor...three left standing, the most cruel, ruthless, psychotic, emotionless assholes you’ve ever seen. Battered and bruised they stood in the middle of a sea of corpses. Equal in strength they took over, each plotting the others death though” The first voice reminisced
The voices shuddered you should not have been able to tell they shuddered but you could feel it in the air. Their uneasiness seemed to roll off them like waves from the ocean. Just their talk chilled the air and it seemed as if all eyes had been turned to them, even though there was no one else around. They were alone...alone in a darkness that seemed to pulse and expand as though it were alive.
"Stop it! No one has seen any traces of them save the one he keeps in chains since they were banished" The second voice quivered
"True" The first voice returned more distant this time "But remember their pride, they knew they were the best. They will not stop until one of them has killed the other two and is ruling"
"Yes but why do you bring this up? No one has seen them for almost 8 years” The second voice grew inquisitive

"Their back to claim what is theirs"
"It shall all be washed anew with the blood of the innocent and of the guilty there will be no distinctions"
"They will not stop this time not until one stands above the rest"
"And I pray for anyone who gets in their way"
