Old habits die hard.

How nice it is to be home. Driving down the same familiar streets. Seeing the same familiar faces. Just knowing that you can drive down the road while reading a book and not hit a car or get lost is a great feeling. I missed home. Hard to believe that I would ever miss this boring place, but I do. I do the same thing too - wander Barnes and Noble for about two hours.
I judge a book by it's cover though - I usually buy a couple of books that have really good covers and a good summary. But the bad thing is I go to the bookstore every week so I start on the books I buy, but I never get past the second chapter unless it's a book that I researched ahead of time.

it's a fun store...great way to spend money and kill time!

yeah i do what you do. i dont read the summary sometimes so i end up buying books that i dont like. or i read it and the cover looks cool, but the book turns out to be a disappointment. i wish i had the money to go every week though...shessh boy, how much u do spend there?

someone told me that steven king's novels are scary so i never read them. any that you'd like to recommend? memoirs of a geisha didn't really do it for me. i mean it's a good story but it took me SOO LOOOONNG to read it that i just lost interest a quarter of the way there. i'm exicited for the movie though!
