yeah it is and so is the smell. cocktails look like a lot of fun. expensive also. =) i've always wanted to have a bunch of girlfriends around and just have a cocktail. i doubt that will ever happen, but a girl can dream. =)
i heard wine is pretty good as well. i dont know about that beer crap.
I don't like the taste of any alcohol really. I just drink mixed drinks if they're there.
BECAUSE ALCOHOL = FREEDOM. Or something. But it's sad that we can't do anything fun without drinking or whatever. In Chicago, nobody wanted to do anything except drink, and there was so much shit to do.
And what's up with Thursday night? We still got school the next day. I save going out for friday and saturday.
that's the thing, why CAN"T you do something fun without alcohol? Does alcohol really give you all the freedom that you want. you have the exact same freedom and fun without being under the influence. but i know what you mean though, most people jsut want to be buzzed or drunkened before they step out the door. that's just horrible that you have to rely on something else to have a good time. that must mean that they're boring individuals without alcohol.
most of the party kids dont have school on friday or it's an easy class or something. i however, get stuck with all the tests on fridays so i've never been able to just go along and see wht the fun's all about. it's like a school's event so everyone gets dressed up and goes partying with the kids from school. fridays and saturdays are reserved for your friends i guess.
people drunk are obnoxious to me. it's not so much a scary thing, but a more "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME" sorta thing. they do things that you dont want to see or be around; i find it best to just stay away.
how old are you again? i find it that the older you grow up, the more temptations you get to drink. i thought it was only during your teenage years but now that i'm in college, i'm constantly around it and it's an okay thing so everyone does it, you know? like in order to fit in, you gotta drink. i think it's worse than high school.
self-exploration isnt such a bad thing. as for alcohol, it *is* an uninhibitor, but there's a difference between controlling your internal demons... and supressing them. i'm a fan of trying to control it. ;)
self-exploration is one thing, but dependency on alcohol to have fun is another. it's okay to have a drink here and there, but it's not okay to constantly drink until you are completely wasted.
there are those that can control themselves when they're under the influence and those that cannot. i guess you're one that can. =) that's good.
