I can't believe you didn't send in your teacher recs to SMU. -_- I could have had a friend there, but no! *cries* Anyway, I hope St. Eds accepts you. ^^ Btw, Vanilla Ice didn't steal the "dun dun dun dun nun nun nun" from David Bowie. David didn't make it up. There was this dude in the 80's who made up all sorts of catchy tunes and electronic noises. A lot of bands used his samples. Mr. Bowie was one of them. ^^
