This might just be another reason to move towards more technical schools for science and engineering.

Maybe if our lower school systems we not so inadequate some of these other degrees could be boiled down to two years.

So now assembly is being labeled an actual threat?

Because "Social networking" is a business model from 2005. "Social networks" are obsolete. I want to get rid of them. I want to break down their silly little walls and open the internet so people can communicate with their friends without requiring a U.S. owned corporation to act as a go-between. LJ is beyond dead that I can't even see why it still exists. They would probably be best served to start purging accounts that haven't been updated in years.
