Leftover haggis recipe

Jan 27, 2005 11:45

When we had haggis on Burns Night there were leftovers of mashed potatoes and haggis. I tried mixing them together with a beaten egg, making little patties and frying them and they were *really* good. I think I'd probably serve them with cabbage, since neeps take too long to cook.

Yum. I like haggis, so that sounds amazingly tasty.

I agree. That sounds yummy. Yes, that would probably go well with cabbage, but mmmmm.... neeps.

The tatties we had on Burns Night (yes, it was a couple days early to make the Friday crowd) were doctored with horseradish, which went very well with the haggis.

I am now imagining haggis latkes.

That can't POSSIBLY be kosher!
