It had been fun, talking and playing with Joanna, and he'd enjoyed the conversation with her mother, too. But this, right now, told him just how right he'd been to stay. "Sorry if it was awkward, me being here. I don't know if you'd planned to say anything to her or not..." Jim trailed off, pulling Bones close.
His communicator was an unwelcome distraction. "Ignore it," he murmured, trying to do just that as he nipped at Bones' jaw.
