Paige waltzed into the main office with her black teaching robes swishing behind her, brandishing a rather large, crystal sword made of a substance that appeared much like a ruby. She simply hadn't heard the demand for her presence beforehand, having better things on her mind. This thing probably belongs in a museum, or the bottom of an ocean...
Vaguely concerned, Paige leaned up between the pair, seeming ready to lop off their heads. "Something wrong? You two don't look like students or teachers."
The woman's hand fluttered to her mouth, eyes wide. The man steeled his face. "We're looking for the headmistress. We were told that our children were here, and we need to find them." He smiled charismatically, eyeing the sword cautiously.
The Headmistress leaned back again, lowering her weapon only slightly. "I could have guessed."
With the sudden realization, Paige put the tip of the sword's blade down against the floor rather audibly. Any more force likely would have split the ground beneath it. "Paige Matthews," she bowed as politely as she could with the heavy sword propped in her hands. "I would be the new Headmistress. So, who are you, and your children? I'm sure we can find them for you." She gave a quick glance towards the front office secretary.
The man stared at the headmistress somewhat disdainfully. "Hello, Miss Matthews. I'm Gabriel Tam, and this," he motioned to the woman with him, "is my wife, Regan. Our children are Simon and River Tam. We received word that they were here, is that the case?"
