Not that he could carry all of them down at once. No, for his first shipment he brought the sword and a glaive, the former hanging at his hip and the latter held in hand, the curved, glowing end pointed out in front of him. (If he had a little more time, he might be able to really deduce why it glowed, not simply by "magic.")
He saw Jim the moment he stepped in, and paused in the archway, setting the butt of the glaive against the ground (lest his arm tire). "Is there something you were looking for, Jim?"

"Are these what Loki was yelling about?" Jim had heard the commotion, but with so much else on his mind he hadn't paid close attention. His focus over the past few days had been splintered, worry and then elation for Bones' cure, and then the hard questions his encounter with Thor had prompted making him weary and introspective.

Jim's answer was peculiar, though, especially given the setting, and Spock looked at him for a moment, studying him, as one hand rested on the hilt of the sword. "Did you want to use this equipment?" And then he took a step closer to Jim, still cool and curious. "Have you ever handled such weapons?"

He glanced up when Spock moved closer. "Was that an offer?" Jim hadn't considered actually using anything he had seen in here so far, but the idea of sparring with Spock was appealing.
