He's this really creepy Active we had back at the Dollhouse. He went on a killing spree and murdered several other Actives and cut another Active's face up. He's surprisingly good with scalpels and scissors.

It's sorta this place where people, the Actives, volunteer five years of their lives. Everything about them gets wiped, their memories, personalities, the works. And they get sent out on jobs. At the end of their five years they get to go home with a load of cash and no memory of their time there.

But that's not the point. The point is Alpha wants to kill me!
