An Observation on Everyone's Favourite Subject & A Meme
So, I've been scanning the comments on Porn Battle VII and I thought of something as I came across entry after entry of Twilight fic. See, I don't usually read Twilight fanfiction. To be quite honest, I haven't even finished reading all of Twilight itself muchless its derivatives but I've read enough of it to give me a fair impression of the writing style, tone, quality etc, etc, etc. And I've decided that Stephanie Meyers should be downright ashamed of herself because, seriously, when the fanfiction is better written and more gripping than the original, you know the author has failed. Epically.
...I weep for the future of Young Adult fiction.
