Where to start... where to start...

My name is Chris, and I am 23 years old, even though I look noticeably younger. At the moment, I am an art student at the University of Maine, as well as a volunteer delivery driver with Meals For Me. At the moment, I don't have access to a scanner, but once I do, you can bet I'll be posting things I've done.

I don't know which I am the most envious about: your new Mac, your status as a student, or your sexuality. Oh who are we kidding...

I want a Mac too. The other two? BTDT. Welcome to Idol.

The painting looks a lot like a photograph. Where did you find it?

Hey man.

I have to admit that there has been a lure to Mac ownership but I keep on dealing w/ the troubles of a regular pc and Windows. My computer was gone for 2 weeks. It is running OK (much better then before) but I am still getting some glitches that I need to deal w/. 3 cheers for having almost 2.5 TB of hard drive space.

I watch a bit of the food network but am a huge fan of Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel. I watch that more then any other food program.

And as far as sexuality goes, more power to ya my friend. I hope that by announcing it that you are able to have a bit more freedom. What matters to me is how a person treats others and as evidenced through your entries over the years you are a genuinely nice person who treats others w/ kindness. That is what really counts. You also get points for being a Monty Python fan and lover of cartoons. =)

I didn't know that you watched Food Network. I don't know if Travel Channel is available on basic cable here--Bizarre Foods sounds fascinating, and I will have to check it out sometime.

Have you ever used a Mac before? I'll admit the Mac OS takes some getting used to, but once I had some practice with it, I found it easier to find, open, and switch between programs with the Mac OS than with Windows.

Thanks for your kind words, and the points are certainly appreciated :)

I like Rachel Ray and Guy Fieri on food network. If you go to youtube they have several different clips from Bizarre Foods on there. Andrew Zimmern eats a whole lot of "weird" stuff but to be truthful I would be willing to try most of it.

I've never used a Mac. I have never known anybody local who has one. Price is something that has kept me away so far but maybe one of these days.

You are most welcome. Had a Monty moment at work last night. Me and another guy were singing the Lumberjack Song. The girl we were singing to had no idea, she leads a sheltered life. =)

Welcome and well met! I love to swim, too. Well, to be accurate, I like to float and play in water. But laps are cool. Isn't it great how we can be different and still get along?

Floating and playing are fun in really warm pools.

(and yes, it is great)

I like some of the same Food Network shows that you do, but I can't cook to save my life.

Welcome to LJ Idol!

Thank you!

Cooking can be scary at first--I'll admit that I was nervous the first time I tried making several of the dishes--but it gets easier the more you do it.
