Wasn't last night's game great?

Sure was! I got a bit nervous when Okajima (sp?) went in but it was all good. Just waiting for the game tonight. Let's hope Becket can pull it off!

I thought last night's game was exciting as well, even though I couldn't stay up for all of it. Beckett didn't do so well, but Pedroia hitting two home runs was nice.

last year was puer bliss for me...up until the rockies blew it :(

Even though they came up short, I still thought the Rockies' run last year was incredible.

I admit that I am more of a opening of the season sort of girl rather than a play offs sort of girl, but I get what you're saying! :)

For me, the best thing about the season opening is that everyone has a chance, but it's definitely fun to believe that your team has a chance, however unlikely it may be.

The potential is part of it, and it's also that baseball opening season means spring, at last!
