When the news came that one of Henry's colleagues was going to retire, his first thought was "I guess I'll have to say goodbye to him", not about the party it would give. Rebecca growled at the strap on her shoe. Her bump was in the way, again, for the millionth time this evening, but for some reason it was focused directly on keeping her from doing up this one shoe. She'd gotten the other one on just fine but this one was just refusing to be done up.

Standing, she let her dress fall and walked on tiptoe out to meet Henry. "Help?" She asked, waving the shoe at him with a needy smile.

Henry exploded into coughs when she exited the bedroom, waddling in an almost elegant way. She had shown him the dress, but he had expected a bit less of decollete for the retirement party of his colleague. Or for anything that meant Rebecca would had to leave the house.

"A- uh- do, wouldn't you like a lower heel for your sh- shoes? Do I need to get you a little jacket or something? For the - to cover up your - it's Autumn outside."

She shook her head. "You're forgetting that i'm running like three degrees hotter than normal lately." She said, rearranging her straps and adjusting her boobs. "And I have those little folding flat shoes in my handbag so these will be alright for a few hours."

"Don't you .." He knelt down in front of her, taking the shoe from her hands and slipping the shoe on her foot. "I know I'm in a risky position here, but you are wearing a bra, aren't you? Professors are a conservative kind of people."
