I think the R in Japanese was the easiest one for me, but still harder than any other sound. Mine used to sound like a "w" in english. How about your students?

German and French are close enough, but I get laughed off stage in Spanish.

If French had a lightly rolled r, I'd be doing much better.

Come to think of it, my Polish friend in college also laughed at my attempts at a Polish r.

If you were a statistician, you could extend this difficulty to programming languages, particularly the language R.
