Okay guys.. Crack from me to everyone in the world...
Not spell/grammar-checked as of yet. Let me know if it sucks more than an whore. <3
It had been three years since they last saw one another, but the smaller boy's eyes were no longer filled with silent smiles
or light. they were dull and lifeless. He'd become a detective for the fey/psychic world. The boy clinging to his arm, Andy
immagined was the medium. His ex-lover's medium was small, like a girl, his hair was dyed a bright blue to match his
contacts. The equally effiminate voice apologised for "Fujiwara-sempai's rudeness." So, he'd changed his last name, maybe it
was his sister's idea.
"Ah, Mr.Bryce, Yamigawa-sama is ready to see you." He looke dup to find the very girl he had hoped would have answers. She
had changed... significantly. Her hair was still long, but her eyes... was he in shock or were her eyes really almost-white?
Her style of dress had also changed, instead of her usual pure-black, she was in an glaringly adorable pink lolita-dress with
a tiny hat perched atop her head. He nodded and followed her into the office, "Fujiwara, Kojiro, this is Andre Bryce." The
man who sat behind the desk, the one who called him halfway across the country, smiled and offered him a seat and beverage.
Somewhere between personal introduction and a slight drop of formalities, he looked over to "Kojiro's" assistant.
"Fujiwara-chan is awfuly cute to-day, isnt she?" Yamigawa, Kojiro smiled, admiring the way she'd fixed her hair.
"Le~cher!" she sing-songed. Andy shook himself, then directed his attention to the older man. He had no wrinkles or signs of
any, his hair was long and black with no trace of grey, but ANdy knew for fact he was at least fourty. She offered them both
drinks (gin an coke,) both accepting the beverages, then sat in a corner of the room until she was needed.
"You specialize in were-wolves... or so your books imply." Kojro smiled. Andy wasnt really revered for his disclosure of fey
information through the pile of novels he'd written.
"I do, as I am a wolf-fey." He half bowed his head to the obviously amused Kojiro, who grinned, pleased with this discovery.
"In all honesty, I have no were-wolf expert nor do I keep a were-fey to date. But this particular murder bothers me..." he
slid to Andy a folder, filled with information on the deceased, and pictures... God, the pictures... He'd never seen anyone
so mutilated. Based on the state of the body when photographed, you'd never be able to tell it was a small, pretty girl. he
tried very hard not to look at the last picture taken before her abduction.
"Were there any traces of psychic energy? You can usualy pick up on the energy and get accurate visions, right?" Andy slid
the file back to Kojiro, who flipped open the file, looking at it as casually as if it were someone's family album.
"That's the strange thing," Kojiro looked up with mix-matched eyes (one deep brown, the other pale, pale blue,)"The energy
level had clearly been tampered with. Mr. Grady could only pick up the FEELINGS, even tapping into Mr.Fujiwara's energy
reserve did nothing more than heighten the feelings." Andy weighed the feeling of the unsaid: "this someone is capable of
hiding from the moon."
"The girl was a level 9-psychic. Her parents werent aware, so this has leaked out to the public." The lolita-clad "Fujiwara-
chan" added from her corner.
"Yes," Kojiro nodded, "they contacted the police, so we have to work in absolute shade, which normaly isnt any problem at
all..." the older man sighed, tossing the file onto the desk.
"So, why do you need a fantasy-novel writer?" Andy asked, looking more perturbed by the moment.
"Well, in all honesty, I dont NEED a writer. I caught wind that you were possibly were-fey. It's easier to infiltrate your
own camp. do you understand?" Kojiro smiled, back to business.
"You want me to ask the were-fey around, because you think they're keeping something from the rest of the psychic community?"
Andy stopped for a second, "what if what you're dealing with is a regular psychic? I'm not going to do much good there."
"That's where Fujiwara-chan comes in. She's a level 3 psychic, but i need some one to go with her. Her power-type.." he
paused, trying to determine if telling her conition to the stranger was a necessity..
"She's of the moon," Andy stated, looking over to the surprised-looking girl. "Your brother is the moon, Mr.Yamigawa said so
himself. Children sharing the womb-bond are often matching in power-type." he reasoned. She obviously lost her memories
again. Possibly her whole itentity... her expression soffened.
"Yes, I am the Moon." She smiled a sweet smile. Sad. Kojiro nodded.
"Well, i suppose this would be fine, but what do i get out of this?" Andy returned attention to Kojiro, who laughed.
"I'll pay you fifty thousand dollars. Plus anything you need to bribe information. You will have an apartment in Blue-Sky C O
M P L E X, free of charge for up to a month after the case is solved." he smiled.
